CIFES
The Center d’Interpretació de la Festa is a museum located inside a modern building with multifunctional spaces, a good location and an endowment of technical means, which has made it a point of reference for the city, the Safor region and, of course, for the Community. The museum space shows from a modern perspective everything related to the falla festival in general and, also, the link between the fallas and the city.
The aim of the Faller Museum in Gandia is to introduce Valencian history, culture and tradition, art, music, satire and wit in a different and playful way. All this together with the work of fall artists and the richness of our tradition.
In short, what is intended to convey to people is that the fallas are not only old photographs and dolls, and that they are not reduced to a week of party, but embrace a whole year of effort and work.

Exteriors
ExteriorsThe work mixes rational and functional architecture with organicism and adaptation to the space. The two-body facade shows this rationality that blends with the curved shapes of the space intended for the Museum. The play of curved and straight lines creates a space in the front, occupied by small green spaces, a fountain and a staircase that invites the pedestrian to pass inside the building. As a whole it adapts to the environment perfectly with a predominance of horizontality over verticality.
Sculpture
The entrance is presided over by the sculpture made by Josep Basset that represents the number 19, day of San Josep and of the cremà de les fallas. Made of corten steel, it stands out against the yellow-painted stucco background. It highlights the solidity and volume of the work that accentuate the feeling of volume and rest.
schools
The Faller Museum in Gandia shows its visitors the traditions and customs related to the quintessential Valencian festival, with games, interactive screens and virtual recreations. We will learn its history, the traditional Valencian trages and their evolution, the relationship with culture and society, pyrotechnics as a craft rooted in our land, the fall artist and the creation of his monuments as unique work in the world , Casal Faller as an example of coexistence, El Llibret as an example of literary and satirical creativity and finally band and traditional music (taballet, dolçaina and albes).
The visits are guided and adapted to each cycle and group, in addition, the children can be artists for a day and make step by step in the workshop a puppet that they will later take away.
The educational experience is completed with reinforcement and extension activities structured in cycles and content that we provide to the teachers to prepare the visit before and activities and games for the children to play afterwards.
